Project Background
My business partners and I aim to promote awareness about mental health issues, which many people perceive as something distinct from society. However, in reality, all of us encounter mental health challenges at some point in our lives, such as stress, work pressure, relationship problems, or other related issues. Moreover, there are many people who are facing increasing mental health challenges. It will be great that we can talk to expert psychologists and seek advice on various issues online. We want mental health counseling to be something that everyone can easily access, where individuals can seek help for issues or uncomfortable stories, and receive emotional support, and this will help people have better mental health.

We have studied trends in mental health problems from Google Search and various social media to see how they are changing. We found that the number of psychiatric patients is likely to increase in the past 3 years (2020-2023). Part of which is affected by COVID-19, with depression being the most common issue. Moreover, this issue is being discussed more openly. Make everyone start to realize, understand, and care about their own mental health problems.
Do the Competitive Analysis
After the Market Research, we also surveyed service providers that provide consulting services in the market to see what their service process are, both those belonging to the Department of Mental Health (Hotline Counseling) and private companies such as Istrong and Ooca.

– I have studied and evaluated the different features of each booking plugin. Have the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) been designed to ensure ease of use for both end-users and administrators managing the back-end system? Are there any limitations on customization? Including the cost of investing in each plugin.
– I’ve gathered information from other wordpress developers within WordPress communities to understand their real-world experiences with each plugin.
– I have experimented with various WordPress plugins, both free and paid versions, by testing them through the demos provided by each plugin.
– In addition, we have also considered about the support services, such as updates, documentation, integration with other systems, and assistance provided for user guidance during usage.
This led us to the conclusion that choosing Amelia was the best option because:

Challenges
– Limitations in using the demos of each plugin before making a decision. Some plugins require payment to access all features, or the need to purchase add-ons for specific functions.
– In each employee’s service offerings, they all need to provide services with the same set of durations.
– Functionality limitations because each plugin requires continuous development and updates.
Improving functionality

If possible, we would like to enhance or add functions to improve usability in areas such as:
1. Simplifying the membership registration process to make it more user-friendly, or allowing users to register before making a booking.

2. Allowing each employee to choose the service duration they want to offer instead of having the same duration for all employees.

3. Improving the UI for the scroll bar in the employee selection section on the booking page to make it more user-friendly. Currently, there are no visual cues indicating the presence of more employees than what’s displayed, causing users to be unaware that they can scroll.

4. Integrating the Woocommerce system to work seamlessly with the same database for membership.
5. Developing an in-house meeting system.
6. Allowing users to make additional appointments directly from their logged-in account page without the need to go back to the booking page. Additionally, allowing users to book continuous sessions without any minimum advance booking time after completing the current session.
